General Travel Information - Getting to Sitka Alaska

Sitka Alaska is served by one major airline, which is Alaska Airlines. The most cost effective way to route a flight into Sitka is to travel through Seattle Tacoma Airport into Sitka. During the summer months, Alaska Airlines has one nonstop flight leaving Seattle for Sitka, and most other flights offered by Alaska involve a change of planes in Juneau, or Anchorage Alaska. Unless you love to fly, we don't recommend a connection involving a change of planes in Anchorage, as Anchorage is quite a distance from Sitka.
